Dugovic - location and genealogy
Location and genealogy
I research any information about Dugovic family, I found one island in South of Europe, in half of name divided with mark - name contains Dugo: Dugo-. I also saw in history of France or some book surname Dugommiel or Dugomiel and on internet Dugo. Miel means honey in French. In noble registers were Dugovics in this area of my ancestors and also in this country Dugovics de Sárkuth - Dugovich de Tej – Dugovič. Also same name and surname and area as was brother of my greatgrandmother, so maybe their father or relative.

Senkvice history to genealogy:
Senkvice are in Slovakia, maybe 20-30 km from Bratislava.
1964 was created Senkvice from Velke and Male Canikovce. Name of village was different and I do not write whole history. 1256 for example Chanuk.
1557-58 came to Velke /Great/ Canikovce 83 families from Kostajnica - Croatia to the place of abolished village Canik. Mikulas Banic lead them there on the invitation of Illeshazys.
1615 it was town, today I think it is village.
To Male /Little/ Canikovce came 8 families 1597 from Sisak.
This comming was I suppose well after the battle at Mohac 1526 when Turks settled Croatia. So end of surnames -ic are of Croatian origin usualy says here. To Senkvice came many old and high and lower aristocratic families from Croatia, because of wars. So ancestors from this ancestors comes from old high Croatian aristocracy as also the other sides of other family comes from them also as from whole European Royalty.
Sidonia Dugovicova took care for health care, embroidering and vineyards, awarded many times by Red Cross.
